I was wondering if there are any K-31-55 7.5mm sniper rifles in the US, and how much they'd sell for. Here's a picture:

If there are any, (and I'd say it's a good bet there are a few), I'm sure they cost a pretty penny. Just pulling a number out of my fourth point of contact, I'd say absolute minimum of $3500.

Try Swiss Rifles for more info.

I'm pretty sure that I saw that flashhider on a Swiss rifle @ a show a while back.I'd no idea what it was.IIRC,that rifle didn't have a scope on it.

Thx for that link Langenator.

Its named of the rifle is the Schmidt-Rubin K-31/55 Zielfrenrohr. Certainly fewer than 100 samples in the States. There were earlier versions with mainly different optics. The name of the importer is Simpsons, I believe located in Michigan (?).

I know of two folks in the US that have them. Both had to go through some pretty elaborate import documentation and a pretty long wait. I know that one guy spent $4,000 on his. The second guy didn't mention the cost but he did mention he had to wait about 8 months to recieve it from Switzerland.

ive been looking for one of those since i was 16 (i know i couldnt buy back then but hey window shopping never hurt) id love to see one around here.
