I was thinking about putting a Mojo sight onto a K31 to shoot it better, as well as sight in with different loads. I was looking at the clamp on mounts as well. Is it possible to put a Mojo sight and a St. Marie clamp on scope on a K31?

It seems like you'd have the best of both worlds, a scope and good iron sights together. And if you could/did, would it make sense to sight in both at 100 yds, or maybe iron at 100 and scope at 200 or 300?

Yes. You can use the St. Marie clamp on scope mount with the original sights for a backup. The scope mount also won't intefere with changing the iron sights for aftermarket Mojo sights.

As an aside, I configured my scope mount slightly canted so that I roll the rifle to an angle putting the scope directly over the bore instead of offset. To use the iron sights, I simply roll the rifle to the right a bit, which also pulls my cheek off the raised leather cheekpad I added. It works quite well.

I sight all my 30 caliber rifles in at 200 yards to get the most out of the ballistics (+/- 3" or so). GP11 has ballistics similar to .308 BTW. I sight the irons and scopes in at the same range to keep things simple and avoid confusion.
