unfortunatly your not
aparently a new trend thanks to the CZ pistol bayonet being so popular

i REALLY hope it was a bunch of novely purchases or gag gifts and not tacti-cool idiots thinking a bayonet on a pistol is a good idea

i will say this much if there is an up side they are only $30 @ my local gun shop which is way cheaper than the CZ offering but its still just junk

yeah but just think how hard it would be for Chuck Norris to yank the pistol out of your hand, he couldnt without cutting himself. Sorry folks couldnt help it.

why would he yank the gun from your hand he would just let you unload it at him while the bullets bounced off his chest then dodge the gun when you desperatly threw it at him (thats right superman stole this move from chuck norris)

Well, going by 'cloud has a silver lining' logic, at least mall ninjas are RKBA supporters.

If products like these are actually profitable...

Hm. I wonder how difficult mounting a bayonet lug to a shaft would be. Might be an inexpensive way to make a spear?

new meaning to the words "Muzzle Jab".....seriously though, an answer to a NON question IMO :(...when working in a team senerio....Thats just :scrutiny: the thing you want the Gents in close tow  right BEHIND YOU toting :D:evil:

BBG

I could see a pistol bayonet being handy in a post-apocalyptic/Max Max kind of world, or in a third world country, on when you are alone in the wilderness and need to survive, but not for everyday America.

OK I absolutely want one on an OD green Glock 19, I dont care how stupid it is, i like it, it has a purpose, being cool and helpful to keep people from lunging at you while you are aiming your gun at them. I have anti-gun idiot family id like to piss off with it. Plus imagine if you saw Diane Fienstein walking around.:scrutiny: I would whip that gun out and run up to her and ask her if she likes my new setup.

CZ Bayonet is a good idea

I own a CZ SP-01 but I don't have the bayonet. I think I would like to have it.
Let me give you something to think about regarding its practicality. One of the problems that most semi-auto handguns have is that if a belly shot is needed, your gun could be pushed out of battery. If the slide is moved backward just slightly it is out of battery and will not fire. The tactical block that comes with the bayonet will prevent the gun from moving out battery. In the case of an altercation, perhaps an attacker would think twice about getting close to you with this tactical block bayonet. It is a useful and practical defense in close combat situations. It could keep you in the fight and possibly increase your chances of saving your life in a close contact altercation.

Come on, it is a novelty. Thinking of it otherwise isn't being honest with yourself. Think about it, how many soldiers carry one? I wouldn't have, I wouldn't even draw my rifle bayonet from the arms room. Bayonets are obsolete, and they really went out with autoloaders.

If you really want to see how ridiculous it is, and it is ridiculous, you just might not know it yet, go and find a bayonet course to run with one. I guarantee you something will break. The pistol, the bayonet, your hand, but something ain't coming out the other end in one piece. Not to mention how much more dangerous it would be to run a course with one than a rifle. Too easy to hurt yourself.

How do I know? Been there done that, broke some rifles and bayonets in the process. But to hang on the wall? To use in a movie? Go for it. Just don't think it is good defensive idea or show up at a range with it on there if you want to be taken seriously by your peers.

It is a toy, nothing more nothing less.

It could keep you in the fight and possibly increase your chances of saving your life in a close contact altercation.

So can your hands, feet, knees, elbows, and even teeth. A jammed or empty auto makes a dandy impact weapon. Far more effective to shut down a BG than a stab or a slash with that silly little thing.
