Mio if your gun isn't functioning it needs to go back. Something is VERY wrong. My 40 calibre gun, round count is 2400 and it's flawless. NOT ONE failure of any kind with numerous types and brands of ammo.
I like my Kahrs smooth trigger and easy (revolver like) reset. I've never quite seen the usefulness of "Double Taps". To me they seem a range "exercise" whos' purpose is to eliminate revolvers and DAO autos from competetion.

Funny. I too had problems with both the PM9 and 40. Sent them both back and while they were better, they were still unreliable. Sold them off. I have since purchased a CM9 and after 400 rounds, it has not had one single malfunction, go figure. The "budget" model has been 100% whereas the "fancy" model was a POS. Odd.:fire:

Some people just can't shoot these heavy recoiling little pistol. I bought my first one from a very season match shooter that could not shoot it and work reliably. For me its been great and I am nothing special with a handgun.

45 for carry trumps a 38. I like the PM9, "it's what I carry". I never cared for the 40 caliber in any gun from model 23 glocks, to my Emp. It's a snappy round that is never as accurate when firing follow up shots. Get a CW9, and call it a day. Plus you can get a 7 or 8 round mag for it, giving you 8 or 9 rounds vs 5.
