Kahr Elite 98 trigger...

Guys, I've dragged out the Kahr stuff I received last year when I was in the "thinking about one" stage. There is an advertisement for the "new" PM9. It says "New in May 2002". Listed in the features in this advertisement are several items including a part where it says PM9's will come with the "Elite 98 trigger". I thought that was an "MK" feature. Does anyone know for sure? The trigger on my PM9 feels pretty good, however no where on the pistol does it say "Elite 98 Trigger" like I've seen on some MK's.

All Kahr polymer pistols come with the Elite trigger. It’s not an option on them, it’s “standard equipmentâ€.

The pull on an Elite trigger is 1/8" shorter, but you probably knew that.

Doesn't Kahr use only the Elite trigger in all their pistols now? I thought I read that somewhere. Can anyone confirm that?

I’m not sure about that NJ3. I can tell you that the new Kahrs my local FFL shop has been getting still have the Elite trigger listed as an option… maybe this is what they’re going to go to eventually.

I installed an Elite trigger in my K9 a while back… I like it.

Ok, dumb me. I just bought a Kahr MK9. How do I know whether or not I have an 'elite trigger'?

Well, Kahr's website lists it as something called the "Elite 2003" (now shipping!).

Does that mean that all new Kahrs will have the good trigger?

Critter: My MK9 says "Elite 98" near the muzzle on the side opposite the MK9 marking on the slide, but mine's a year or two old.

It appears the Elite 2003 has a bevelled magwell. I don't know if there are any other differences in it over the Elite 98.
