Kahr magazines?

Just picked up a Kahr E9.

1. Will magazines for a K9 work in the E9?

2. Magazines from my K40 slide into the E9 and lock. they seem to fit well. Does that mean they will work when loaded?

Just picked up a Kahr E9.

Have they brought it back? I thought it was discontinued some time ago. I owned one for a time; a good little gun after some initial bugs were worked out.

If this is the gun I'm thinking of - a less finely finished, but otherwise identical to, version of the K9 - yes.

2. Magazines from my K40 slide into the E9 and lock. they seem to fit well. Does that mean they will work when loaded?

This, I doubt. It seems unlikely that 9mm cartridges will feed out of it. But I've never tried it.

2) Try it and see. My guess is the round will be a tad too loose to feed well, but who knows. I know some .380 mags will feed .32acp just fine.
