The MK9 is used mint and the Sig Sport is NIB from KyGunCo for $440.Praxidike
I could only find a SIG P238 Sports 12 so I don't know if this is the right gun but it seems to be priced around $499 NIB. A new Kahr MK9 goes for considerably more so I'm not sure if this is an apples-to-apples sort of comparison, at least in terms of price. If I had to say which is the "better" gun for collecting purposes then I would probably go with the Kahr.
Just for collecting, I'd get the SIG 238...then I get the pistols that it evolved from, starting from the Italian pistol through the Colts.I'm only buying for collecting purposes...
No reason really. I have a thing for small sized all metal pistols , and I want something that, in the future, will still be desirable, will hold or go up in value, and that I can pass on to my children. Plus, I already own their big brothers, the Kahr K9 and the Sig P938 SAS.What is the purpose or goal of "the collection"? That might influence my answer.
