I carry a P-40 every day. I had an MK-9 that made a superb hide-a-way pistol. It was heavy for it's size but was rock solid and reliable. You'll like it.

... the lack of a manual safety with it's light trigger pull and the fact that it lacked a repeat striker capability prevented it from being my "always" gun.
I carry an MK9.
The second strike thing has never worried me.
It has never failed to go bang, and with modern premium rounds, I don't think I will ever need it anyway!!
I just got through putting another 100, or so, rounds through it today!!
Very accurate pistol. Accurate enough to plink at cans with!!
I've been considering a Kahr for pocket carry, my main carry is a Glock 26, too big for a pocket. I'd probably want the polymer model to lighten the load in a pocket. But now that KT has announced their PF-9, I may wait until that hits the streets and see what it's like. .88" thick and 12.7 ounces.
Had an MK40 for a short time. I bought it thinking it would make a good pocket gun to replace my Mustang. It was not. Too thick and too heavy for pocket carry. Would have made a nice belt gun, but my 1911 works well on the belt also My MK40 was reliable and accurate. The 40 sure does bark out of a little gun like the Kahr!
I have a MK40 that I use now in place of a Mustang. Still have the Mustang. With a good pocket holster, after a few days, the weight does not seem to bother me. With a light trigger and no safety, pocket holster is must.
I love my MK9, carry it in a Mitch Rosen 5JR OWB. Conceals very easily, has some weight to it but carries well with a good belt/holster. Have had no failures through 500 rds.
You can get one for around $350-$365 used on these boards.
Is this turning in to a Kahr Pr0n Thread???
The trigger seems good, though I'm really not accustomed to the DAO. They seem to be sturdy and reliable. Not as cute as a 1911 though- a STI LS9 may replace my Kahr within the next year or so.
