I bought a used Kahr P9 covert this week. Using 115 gr. WWB, I'm getting a few failures to eject every 50 rounds. The case gets lodged between the top of the barrel and the back of the opening in the slide, parallel to the rounds in the mag (no stovepipe).
This pistol came with a steel guide rod. The manual says to push the front of the ejector down when reassembling and pulling the slide over the top of it. My slide clears the ejector easily and the ejector can only be pushed down about 1/32 of an inch.
I put a Hogue jr grip on it so I could get a firmer hold of it. Never had any pistols fail to eject because of a weak grip (not ruling it out completely though).
THanks.
