Kahr T9 or T40 ?

I recently bought a Kahr K9 and am hooked now. Can't have just one. I have been looking at the T9 and T40 series, both of which have a 4" barrel and extended frame that holds one more round than the K series. Just wondering if anyone on the forum has any experience with either of these. Thanks

I have asked this question several times on different forums and have yet to find someone with a T-9 or a T-40.

I've had a T 9 with adj. sights for about a year and am very happy with it. I also have a K 40.

Unfortunately, I've seen no improvement in accuracy over my friend's K 9. However, it is great to shoot and no malfunctions to date, with nearly 1K rds.
I keep checking with Bar-Sto to see if they will offer a barrel replacement for it, in hopes of improving the accuracy.

Iv'e had a K-40 for several years now and was wondering ,balance wise,how the T's were....I think my K-40 would "feel" and balance a little better with the added length of the T's. Whats your opinion?
Accuracy wise I find my K-40 just fine for my abilities.....generally just shoot no more than 15-18 yards. It's just a CCW pistol....I don't game at all.

T9 Feedback

We recently purchased a like-new 9mm T9 for my wife....

Ergonomically...she and I both like the pistol. It accommodates her girly hands...and my large hands like it too.

The Kahr-thin profile helps it to be useful for CCW purposes..

The recoil of the pistol is a bit snappier than I would have expected...but certainly manageable.

Ours has nice Novak fixeds sites, designed for CCW carry.

The matte stainless finish should stand up well to all conditions and uses...

Dis-assembly/re-assembly and cleaning is as simple as working on my Glocks....

The double-action trigger is consistent and smooth...

Had a T9 with the Novak sights...great handling gun. pointed well and carried well too..my wife liked it a lot and shot it well..

gun was reliable with variety of factory ammo and reloads...

wish I hadn't had to sell it..but when times get better..it certainly is on my list to get again..

I have a TP 9 which is one of my principal CCW's, I give it a thumbs up. Its also adapts well to IWB carry
