I wrote both representative Larry Campbell and state senator Brownlee about this. Campbell is all for it. I doubt that Brownlee will vote in the affirmative. Gov Sebelius is more than likely to veto, so we need to keep contacting the legislators and the governor with our message!

Dang, I go out of town for a couple of days & things start happening. My state senator & rep are onboard with this. I'll be emailing Ruff to see if there's anything I can do beyond thinking good thoughts. :)

Here's the Bill, for those of you who may be interrested. Is there any body here who isn't? :D

I think the version passed by Missouri was much better; but, Hey, I could live with this as a start.

The anti's will surely try to screw with it. :(

Perhaps we can actually improve it in the process. :D

This Bill has been Referred to Federal and State Affairs Committee --

Hearings are scheduled for next week in Room 313-S:

Opponents will be heard Wednesday, 2/18/04

Proponents will be heard Thursday, 2/19/04

Hearings are scheduled to begin at 1:30 P.M. on both days.

Now is the time to start contacting your State Representatives and Senators and express your support for CCW in Kansas.
