There's no place like home.......

My home state! Born but not raised!

Congratulations Kansas friends! Join us in responsible defensive concealed carry. This is a great day!:)

Congratulations O state of my birth!

No, it won't get me to move back (I seriously doubt no matter how wonderful the legislature is that they will install mountains any time soon).

But at least now when I head back to ICT to visit the 'rents I'll be able to pack legally.

Congratulations, Kansans. Good show.

Hopefully you can show Gov. Sebelius the door later this year. Man, what a message that would be.

Reciprocity ????

"A valid license, issued by any other state or the District of Columbia, to carry concealed weapons shall be recognized as valid in this state, but only while the holder is not a resident of Kansas, if the attorney general determines that standards for issuance of such license or permit by such state or district are equal to or greater than the standards imposed by this act. The attorney general shall maintain and publish a list of such states and district which the attorney general determines have standards equal to or greater than the standards imposed by this act.

The provisions of this subsection shall take effect and be in force from and after January 1, 2007."

Good job Kansas, finally done something right. I was reading the Kansas City Star just the other day, I was mad as hell when I saw that witch veto CCW. Glad to see others don't want to follow her. Can't wait to carry.

Now, if we could just get the 'intelligent design' thing over with, I'm still mad about that one.

Wow! I never expected it to happen in Kansas. The ER in Wichita should be overflowing with politcally-connected people having heart attacks about now. The tide has turned.

Well THIS is a great day here in the ,now, Free State. It will be nice to be enjoying the same rights that I enjoyed before I had to move up here from Oklahoma. There is a breakfast for my Representative,Lee Tafanelli,at the Legion hall in Perry on Saturday and I will be there to thank him for his support.
The 580AM talk show has been talking this up for the last couple days.Check out Raubin and Megan.com to read the blogs and commentary.

Yeah, but those lawsuits hurt the taxpayers and the gunmakers.

Pity we can't jail them under RICO, since doing the above is their STATED reason for doing so.

Hey, there are no guns allowed in prison. That means they're safe, right?

Now THAT is some good news! :D Really made my day.

Here's to Kansans joining the proud ranks of CITIZENS. (my most sincere apologies to the subjects still inhabiting other states.)

Is it time to take up a collection for a sympathy card to send the leftist extremists at the Brady office?

No no, don't worry about them. Shall-issue is probably coming to Delaware soon, which is their home base. No need to send sympathy; Sarah will soon be able to get her own permit, and, with reciprocity spreading from (almost) coast to coast she'll be able to carry almost everywhere.

Oh, I like that.

"Condolences on your recent loss."

It's funny, their site is crowing over the "took out provisions that would prevent employers banning weapons on their premises" but doesn't mention no retreat provision "Wild west shootouts!" or lifetime concealed carry, "Felons will never give up their guns!"

I think they've figured out that such complaints fall on deaf ears.

Nice to see them being totally useless for now...and to not have properly updated sections of their site since 1993.:D

Now that we're on the ascent, you know what we need?

More legislation in our favor. I DEMAND THE RIGHT TO OWN NUKES.
