Having waited, and now fresh back from the furniture store, my wife is the proud owner-to-be of 3 new sofas so looking over what I have in cash on hand and available reserves I think @Varminterror ’s assessment is right.

I just ordered a Bushnell Prime Multi-Turret 3-12x40mm and I’ll be chopping into the rest of my list over the next hour or two.

I’m no prepper either but I do keep a supply pantry stocked with 4-5 months of supplies including food, water, propane, surgical supplies, meds, generator, and yes, even toilet paper (with 6 kids we buy in bulk). Should all that fail, we can always load up the motor home and head for Plan B.

We trend the same as the mainland, locals can be just as stupid as everyone else. We DO usually have decent stockpiles of emergency rations, simply because of hurricanes, and we like canned food.....but for some reason folks feel they need toilet paper, and the easy cleaning supplies to deal with a upper respiratory illness that's usually transmitted by direct contact.....

Spam & Rice?

First time I went to the Schofield commissary I was amazed that they were having a case-lot sale of Spam.

I am actually stocking up on reloading supplies......in prep for working from home. I normally load most of my match ammo (IDPA & 3gun) this time of year anyway, so a little extra won't hurt.

I think spam is the only canned food Hawaiians know lol. Guess it would be a good food to stock up on, span I pretty pricey anymore tho.
Brah! we get one refined pallet! We eat all dat kine stuffs! Oh we like duh Vienne sausage too cause dat one from France...you know my mothers, nephews, cousins girlfriend from middle schools dog from France!
Anyway, Chootz bruddahz I let you get back to whatchu was talking bout.

On a serious spam note, I buy a case or two when i can get it for 2 bucks or less per can........

Now BACK TO YOUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED PROGRAMMING!!!

Congrats on the new sofa!, and hopefully some spousal credit :D
I wanna hear about that prime when you get it!

OK, Vienna is in Austria. In fact, it is the capital of Austria. Vienna sausages are made the same place as SPAM, (Austin, MN) and a few other places. France and Vienna are not among them.
Obligatory pic from SPAM museum:

I used to like the old Troy Claymore linear for a compact way of reducing the concussion of short 5.56 Barrels. , I also like the Spikes "Barking Spider" and have one on my .300 BO pistol. But on a fighting gun , with no way to get a legal suppressor, I really like the Noveske Original Flaming pig. To me it certainly makes firing the short ARs more plesant and make really short barreled ones a heck of a lot more reliable IMHO. Also those amazingly cheap Krinkov style Eastern European reflux cans seem to work well for same. Although don't seem very beefy like the Flaming pig or barking spyder. for long term use.
