I was wondering if any of you have the S&W 12 round finger rest type 69 series mags or if you have added the finger rest to the Meggars. Which seems to work better?

Also where and what stock number can one get the slip on grip(Hogue?) for the P-11?

Anyone use S&B ammo? My Kel-Tec functions great with it.Thanks----------Chainsaw

My experience

Factory grip extensions for factory mags.
Did use a 15 rounder for fun once...odd looking...just to see if could.
Ammo, mine will eat anything, heck have mixed lead, FMJ ,JHP + p in same mag...to see if would hiccup...nope
too lazy to sort 'em that day

load shoot repeat

you want the hand all JR:

the hand all has 2 finger grooves and the Jr only 1
both here:

I use a S&W 12 rounder for a carry mag, but not with the S&W finger rest at the bottom (it is HUGE!!)

more on that here:

you can get the mag sleeves for the 12 and 15 rounders from kt directly (when they open back up from the holidays):

My Kel-Tecs function fine with both S&B 115 FMJ and the (even less expensive) CCI Blazer.

I have tried the 69xx mags in mine but prefer the compactness of the original 10 round mags.

Thanks for the info.
The huge grip would not bother me as my hands are huge:D

I was somewhat leaning toward the 12 round mags. I have 6 of the S&W 15 rounders for my 5904, and have used them for practise. Was thinking the 69 series would fit and look better. Anyone with any other info? Thanks again ---------Chainsaw

Big hands

Chainsaw:

I also have very large hands and I grip my P-11 the way suggested by Massad Ayoob for the mini-Glocks (26 & 27). I curl my pinky finger in under the floorplate of the mag and hold the grip with my 3rd and 4th fingers. I can then use a two handed grip for better aim or a single hand grip for a quick shot as I please.

Just mentioning this because I found the mag extender didn't fit my entire hand as well as doing this. It makes the pistol easier to conceal without the add ons too.

All of the add ons sure look cool as h***, though.

Pico :D

Pico, Thanks for the info. I am not having any problem with the Meggar mag the Kel-tec came with and will probably stay with it.

My 10 round mag that came with my Marlin Camp Carbine fits the Kel-tec and that has a little fingerrest and that works well also. So I am all set. Thanks for the reply-----------Chainsaw

Hi Chainsaw,

I have a 10rd Mecgar, a 12rd Smith, a 15rd Smith, and an Eagle that they claim is 17 rounds.

Note: NEVER buy Eagle brand mags for your Kel-tec. Unless you're a major home gunsmith or a machinist, they just do NOT work (thanks yz! Couldn't have done it without ya).

I have tried about every config you can use, and use the 12 round Smith with a flat floorplate as "The One" at all times.
The others get some range use, but for carry or SD, it's the best combination of carry, concealability, and capacity for me.

Whenever I carried my P11, I used the 12rd S&W mags w/ the grip extension. It felt much better to me than the 10rd mag. But I also have huge hands.

Chainsaw, Check your PM.
