The P-11 is one of the favourite pocket powerhouses around here (including many LEO)
Never intended to be a range gun...fire enough round to keep your proficiency up.
Very well designed, not very refined finishing....but it is a pocket/backup pistol not a safe queen.
If you care about finishing you can always fork $600 for a Kahr jam-o-matic or almost a grand for the Rohrbaugh...
On a lighter funny note...many guys that I met that qualify as gun snobs that if the finish is not perfect would not even consider a firearm, that the only acceptable 1911 is a pimped up Kimber, they drive American cars.....talking about contradiction...
