There has been a lot of discussion of the pistol and company on THR lately. I bought one over 1 year ago and it had been a reliable pistol and them about 6 weeks ago it broke. I wore it out because I shoot a lot and anything I carry I really shoot a lot. The gun is not made to be a 100 rounds every session gun. After discussion with tech support, I sent it back to the factory about a month ago.
I got the piece back last night. Since UPS wanted a signature, I had to go down to the terminal after the route got back, about 8:00. When I opened the package and read the paperwork, I found that they had replaced the gun, not repaired it. They shipped it back at their cost. They asked me no questions, just stood behind their product and their warranty.
This on a gun that cost $230 to begin with, I am impressed.

I have heard others talk bad of the KT guns but never of their customer service.

I had one experience with them and it was a good one. 2 week turn-around on a repair and this was before Christmas shut-down.

If their guns were as good as their customer service everyone would own 2 or 3.

customer service there is fine.

I actually called at 10 PM one night and they were there.... doing repairs or something, but somebody still answered the phone (turned out it was the same person who had fixed my P3AT that day so she knew exactly what was up).

KT customer service is great - no doubt.

Unfortunately, I wasn't happy with the pistol overall and sold it. It was unreliable out of the box.... I got it fixed and paid for it to be parkerized while there.... which cost $50.

Then I just decided I didn't feel confident with it... and sold it for $100.

I kinda miss having a pocket pistol, so I'm looking at either a Seacamp .380, or a Kahr MK40

Im I the only one that sees the humor in a poster named TheEconomist selling a $250 pistol for $100......

The P3AT is what it is, an inexpensive, serviceable .380 pistol that is meant to be carried more than shot and needs some TLC out of the box to be reliable.

I own one, and it's one of my most carried pistols when I can't carry my .45. I recommend these, but be aware of the above and you will be fine.

I like their customer service for the same reasons as above. I had a loose assembly pin in a P32, called them up and they sent me not only the pin but the recoil guide and spring in about 3 days.

My P3AT had a trigger issue right after I got it and I returned it, got it back and as above, they replaced almost the entire pistol. I never had an issue with it after that of any type.

Good guys and gals to deal with...
