I currently have two holsters for my P3AT. Both are Don Hume, one a belt slide and one pocket holster. My problem is the pocket holster's size. The holster is very well made but doubles the size of the gun in my front pocket. I understand the idea of keeping the gun upright but I typically wear tight jeans and it looks like I carry my lunch box in my pocket. Does anyone have a quality leather pocket holster that isn't much bulkier than the gun itself? I have also thought of cutting this holster down but am not qualified to stitch it back up and would rather not destroy a nicely made holster.

This one from Kramer Leather should work. If the picture of the revolver shown is representative, it should be cut and molded much closer to the contours of the gun.

Although it is not leather, I and many members like the Mika pocket holster. I would also point out that the small size of the pockets in tight jeans exacerbates the problem.

I have an Uncle Mike's #10. It is the perfect size for my P3-AT. It has a belt clip which prints but it just looks like I'm carrying a folding knife.

I also just got a Bianchi "Pocket Change". The only problem is it makes the grip of the P3 stick out of the top of my pocket about 1/8 of an inch.

You might also want to consider an ankle holster. The gun is totally hidden that way and you don't have to worry about printing. It also leaves room in my pants pocket for a pepper spray which is my first recourse. I want to be careful about not pulling a gun on someone unless deadly force is legally justified - BIG TROUBLE.

Desantis Nemesis. Slim, grippy on the outside, fits P3AT/LCP like a glove. If for some reason you don't like it you are out a whopping $15.
I had a leather pocket holster and didn't like it. It was bulky, stiff, and half the time the holster came out with the gun, plus it cost more than 2 nemisi.

I usually care in the back pocket of my jeans. I made my own out of some thin leather. No printing and it works like a charm. I have been thinking about making one out of a little thicker leather.

I just finished this new pocket holster. Please let me know what you think? It uses velcro to adjust the fit of the pistol.

I just posted more pictures here. http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?p=4995090#post4995090post4995090

Pure Kustom - I REALLY like this design. I carry a Ruger LCP occasionally in my back jeans pocket and it is starting to print lately. The flap of your design should make it look more like a wallet. I worry a little about it complicating a draw, but can't really see it being much worse than a pocket flap.

It does look like your wallet. It pulls really easy. There is fiber board on the wallet side under the velvet, So it doesn't flap over the weapon. And the slight pressure of your hand reaching for the gun keeps the wallet side pushed up against your pocket. So when you pull the weapon. The wallet holster stays in your pocket.

I am interested, will you begin selling them? Is it possible to get one without the velcro adjustability (sewn to fit the LCP)?
