I have a PF9 and I love it. I have never had any problems and never did a "Fluff & Buff". It just hasn't been necessary.

It is NOT a range gun, a target gun or a "let's go plink" gun. It is a Self Defense gun, period. Small, light, reliable, long, stiff trigger, no external safety and very easy to conceal. It makes a great concealed carry weapon.

You hear a lot of bad things about Kelties, mostly, IMO, from people that think a cheap gun is somehow no good. I have 2. Looking for a third. Yeah, they are cheap. Does that mean they're no good? NO. And the company WILL stand behind them. And after you get a couple hundred rounds down range, they'll smooth out and be just another tool that you carry and can use with confidence.

Yeah, I like mine.

JMNSHO &, of course, YMMV

ktog.org is a dedicated Kel Tec Owners website, more info there than you want, all of it good...

That said,I have a Franken-PF9,(no ejector,trigger shoe permanently attached),that runs like a sewing machine...I love it...

I have a PF9, P3AT, and a sub 2000.

All of them run like a scalded dog.

All of them get used/abused often.

None of them have ever given trouble.

love them Kel-Tecs

I carry a PF-9 regularly and feel very confidant that it will perform as expected, as it all ways has. Also own a P-32 for the occasions when wearing shorts and Tee, it is also very reliable. Based on those to weapons performance I recently purchased a Sub-2000 to use for plinking and to keep the boggy man 100+ yards from the house. I recommend that you purchase one you won't be disappointed

Yep, I've got one and my wife just picked up one. My wife and I are very pleased with them. Conceal easily, light weight and shoot just fine for SD pistol. Fits nicely in a pocket holster or my IWB 1911 holsters. Great little gun for the money. I don't notice the recoil like some have posted. It's a little loud, but other than that it's fine to shoot at the range. I recommend putting some rounds (50-100) through it to get the feel for the trigger.
