i had one in hand at the last gunshow here in SWFL..it was like 1800 bucks...but it was sweet...if i wasnt a poor college student that cant even afford the glock i want, i would get one

They're being made. The MSRP in $1899, the dealer cost is somewhere around $1350, and you'll be lucky to find it below $2000. I've seen them pop up here and there at local shops, but they last a matter of days before disappearing. Then you won't see another for a couple of months.

Hopfully they'll come down in price when they get more of them out. It would make a nice backup gun for my P3AT :D

Heavy? You do realize that it weighs almost a pound less than an M1A with the same barrel length?

That's a nice gun, but very heavy.
Yeah, I'd go with the other ambidextrous, semi-automatic, .308Win. bullpup if I were you. IIRC it is about 8.0lbs...is that really intolerable?

Exposed allen screws do not mean shoddy build quality.
If that your basis for build quality you wouldn't care for the much greater price of the Desert Tactical SRS or AIAW either. They simply make it easy to remove the skins from the chassis.

:)
