Kel-Tec Serial Number

My new Kel-Tec's serial number is A75XX. Can anyone tell me if this is recent manufacture which would indicate whether it has the 8.5 pound trigger spring or not?

I assume you're talking about a P-11, that number is well past the point where they started using the 8.5 lb. trigger. That started around sn. 26,XXX so they made about 100,000+ pistols with the 8.5 lb. trigger pull since yours was made.

OK, thanks. That was what I wanted to know. That serial on mine just didn't match up with the ones in some of the postings here where they were in the five and six digit numbers.

Oops, that should be before yours was made. I've got a 76,XXX P-11 that I bought around 2000 so mine has the 8.5 lb. trigger. They switched to alphanumeric serial numbers in early '04 so yours is no doubt fine.
