Kel-tec sub2000 9mm, How Reliable/Accurate?

I recently bought one and am quite pleased. The sight picture is a little awkward and they are not the most precise sights. However, I was able to keep a group at 50 yds of about 3"-4", offhand but leaning against a post, and had no problem hitting the 100 yd gong consistantly. Fully met my expectations.

Mine has been very reliable and very accurate... It gets about 4-6 MOA with most ammo and I feed mine Wolf 115g FMJ for practice. It takes my Glock 19 mags and packs in a nice space. Its one of my favorite rifles...

I've got one and I think it's a great little gun. Just last week I used mine to shoot the patrol rifle course and had no trouble qualifying with it. It has been very reliable, the only function issues I've had were ammo related, I switched brands and no more troubles. A nice feature is that it can be had in several different platforms so that you might be able to use the same mags in it that you use in your handgun.
It is more accurate than you would think but the sights are crude so it's a little tough beyond 50yds. Inside of that it's quite accurate and closer than 35yds it doesn't miss. It could certainly benefit from a red dot or holographic sight but they don't make mounts for it and anything you put on it would get in the way of it folding. I'll be fitting a little JPoint/DoctorOptic style sight on mine but it's going to take a bit of "fitting" to do it.

I've had one with the G17 mag well for several years and never had a problem with it. I do have the stock extension on mine and could barely shoot it without it. No feeding or extraction problems at all, and works well with the cheap Winchester JHP loads. As mentioned the sights are a little crude, but mine will hold 3-4" groups at 50 yards.

I bought one and found it was a little short. I bought the Kel-Tec stock extension and it was perfect. I put thousands of rounds of 9mm thru mine and I was using reloaded ammo from Lancer Custom Ammo when they were still making reloaded 9mm that you could buy 500 to an ammo can.
My old Sub2K ran flawlessly and was pretty darn accurate at 50 yards, fairly accurate at 100. I had an older one with the crappy front sight. One interesting side note...and I'm not sure if other Sub2K owners agree with this or not...but I'd swear that I could hear the round go downrange when shooting that little gun. Maybe I'm loosing my mind.
