I am curious on issues of kel tec rifles. the folding question raises a point with me about accuracy.
Does the hinge create some loss of accuracy?

and what problems has anyone had by having so much of the chamber exposed when folded open?

You seem to be referring to the Sub2000? If you look at where it folds, you will see that the sight picture never really changes. The rear folding sight is at the hinge location and of course the front stays in the same reference.
This would be unlike many break-barrel air rifles where the rear sight is fixed on the receiver area and the front moves with the barrel for cocking. This would seem to me as it would be far less accurate than the Kel-Tec S2K.

Doesn't seem to effect accuracy, and no problems noted about the chamber. On the other hand, it simplifies cleaning the barrel from the rear.

Great gun, opinions may vary.
