I just read info on another list (KTOG) that MagSafe ammo has blown up two of the KT 380 pistols and MagSafe has put stickers on their ammo not to use in P-3AT KelTec pistols. I just removed the MagSafe ammo from my P-3AT and will now use something else. I am glad I had not tested this ammo only because the weather here has been too cold.

Yeah that is a good call! Cor Bon is the most powerful stuff you can really shoot out of a P3AT which works just fine for me.

:)

I wouldn't use ANY frangible ammo in a P3AT. Shown to have low performance. Even JHP's are questionable. Best to stick with hardball ammo, or at least interleave with a good JHP in the mag. CorBon is good, but also try Double Tap. Go over to KTOG forum and check what they say.

Nothing new there.
Magsafe has had K-T warning stickers on it's ammo for at least three years, maybe more. Those blow-ups happened when the P3AT was first released for sale.

I have had my P3AT since Jan. - 05, and we knew all about it then.

Corbon DPX, or Speer Gold-Dot is the ammo of choice.
Some folks like the 102 grain Remington Golden Saber.
