I've seen mentioned on here or other reloading forums about a place called Kempfs. I was at a Kempfs on vacation and asked if they were the place that sells a lot of stuff on the internet. She said they had a website but didn't act like they do much internet business. I did a google search and they were the only Kempfs that I saw that were reloading related. Do you guys have a web address so I can verify if this is the same place? It was a pretty small place with a bend towards cowboy action stuff. They did have an amazing selection of reloading stuff for a small shop. I actually found CCI #35 primers there for $24.95 per hundred. I bought the only 3 packs they had left. Thanks.

Day in and day out you will find pretty near the best prices for Lee and Hornady loading gear there. They are cowboy shooters and are big in competition events.

Knowing the people who run it any answer to a question about big on Internet sales, or anything else, would be answered very modestly. They are not given to overstatement. They are, however, true to their word and honest. I try to buy everything I use from them in the way of equipment.

Kempf Gun Shop is a very good place to buy your reloading supplies. Luckily for me, I live about one hour away. They are very helpful if you have a problem. I bought a Lee classic turret from them. It works very well.

Bought my Lee Classic turret press kit from them about 2 months ago. Sue answered my email questions ASAP and honestly. Shipping was super fast. I will by from them again!!!!

I got great service from Kempf, and though I don't want to make promises on the shop's behalf, I will tell you that for me, when my credit card was rejected (the information was stolen, used in an attempt to buy electronics for delivery to Indonesia, which I found out about only after I'd placed the Kempf's order), Sue Kempf said (I'm paraphrasing) "Don't worry. Send a check after the press gets to you." I sent my check before that, but true to her word, Sue had sent me my press, and it still reached me before the check had had time to arrive or be cashed -- that's good customer service.

So Yes, I also plan to order from them again!

p.s. I got what from this forum I take to be "the usual" when it comes to Kempf's offerings for new reloaders -- Classic Cast press. It's of higher quality than anything of that price should be :)

Well, this thread gives me the warm and fuzzies. I've been looking at reloading equipment for a while now but I was not sure where I should place my order. After reading this thread and then researching the Kempf name, that's one less thing I need to think about. Thanks!

Kemph + classic turret for me, too!

I did a comparison of Kemph + upgrades against the same stuff at Midway. kemphs was about $10 cheaper after everything was figured in. I've turned out about 1000 rounds of .40 S&W in the last month.

Kemph's is pretty close to where I live, and I see them at gunshows once and a while. Very good people to deal with. Honest to the core.

They're in Michigan City on Hwy 20 at Johnson Road. Sometimes not the friendliest people face-to-face, but they have old fashioned midwest values. I think they'd rather be beat with a stick than cheat someone.

Yeah, they're real big into CASS. One of the founders IIRC. I quit playing cowboys and indians when I was 8, but if that's your thing have fun.
