Very nice looking gun - the wood is first rate. Very well done.

Overall it looks unbalanced to me - muzzle heavy. How does it point and handle?

Thanks

and yes , it is muzzle heavy for sure , points great though , steady like crazy . :)
With only 3.09 pounds of weight in .45 cal compaired to the standard Kentucky .54 I have also at 2.54 pounds, it is definately a noticeable difference in feel . Very stable platform though , it "looks" very misleading rather than being misleading though , its pretty light for any hand held pistol really , at least to me . Heck, look at the Walker , now thats huge , and it feels huge , and weighs huge ! :D
This Bounty is actually very gracefully done by Pedersoli , very sleek in the hand , far from klunky feelin actually .
Lookin forward to seein its accuracy potential for sure soon . Just picked up some more Goex 3F too , so hopin to find some time now , hee hee hee . Lack of time I have plenty of that right now though .

M R purrrrrdy !! No inlays on this puppy? Love the wood on that Kantuckeeee 'yote gitter !! Nicely done Jaegermeister !!

And a tin cup for Pan Handlin

it needs too Ratfacedog68 , hee hee hee :D The Kentucky Bounty Cane model , hee hee hee , a real Washington Joke there huh only you'll understand the tin cup pan handler thing huh , I see this gun on every on-ramp and traffic light in the State almost Ratboy68 .
An old friend of mine is looney now , he pan handles here in the City, says he makes $40 to 70 thousand a year now doing it . I believe him , his wad of cash was impressive when he whipped it out . I asked him for my two bucks back , and he gave it back to me too , said I was doing worse off than him :fire: Bad part is he can work , he's just nuts is all .

Ratdog , not everything gets inlays in my house, the cat and dog are inlay free still , hee hee hee , come here Kitty kitty kitty . Basics good too :D

Thanks Yall !

I heard 'dat !! There was a couple, reported to've been pan-handlin' on Mercer Island (not a low rent part of town). Someone recognized them as one of their "neighbors". They owned a home on Mercer Island... and both of 'em were beggin' for money at the on-ramp to I-90 at Mercer Island.

Really? I thought EVERY cat was created to receive a lead inlay !?!

So many cats

so few recipes :D

While out hunting dad shot every cat he saw when I was huntin with him , said they killed the baby Pheasants and Quail ? Maybe , maybe not , but I saw him roll some cats with his shotguns in Caloousa County . There are allot less cats there on my buddies suger beat farm now buddy . :D

Would love to do some predator calling for bobcat sometime. Heck... lookin' forward to doin' a bit of it for some 'yote too.

As long as you eat um

I guess shootin a preditor is ok , and of course use the bones , fur , teeth , etc too if you can .
I hear Bob Kitty is pretty tastey , but haven't tried eatin any , yet . :D
Unless the preditor in question is actaully a problem for the Ecosystem then you realy ought to leave um be . Just because there are coyote runnin the streets doesn't make THEM a problem , were the problem actaully . Get rid of the Preditor Animal season and replace is with the preditor child molestor and preditor Gang Banger and we'd have enough room for the coyote too in our lives . Dig what I am sayin ? Were overpopulated is all , but it surely isn't there fault . :)

Not wantin' to clean the country side of 'em... I'd likes me a pelt though.

Hmmm.... haven't heard 'bout eatin' bob kitty. I know that cougar is good eating... all white meat. I 'spose his little cousin would be too. I'd give it a whirl.

Oyeboten Carbine

thanks , and it has the 16" barrel , it is a carbine , hmmm , now to figure in a shoulder stock detatchable unit like the Navy Molls ? Hmmmm ?
Some little bird here unfortuntely put that idea in my head , now its fate ! :D

There's a way to hold it steady without a shoulder stock attachment. Those who compete shooting long range TC .223 silhouette pistols rest the inside of their arm (bicep) against their rib cage holding the forestock in their thumb crotch and then wrapping the rest of their hand around the top of the scope. It's a method used for holding a long barrel target pistol steady for off hand shooting at long range.
Your's doesn't have a scope but you can adapt the hold by only pinching & gripping the forestock.
In the U.K., they attach a wire shoulder stock to the grip frame of their very long barrel centerfire revolvers for support.

Yup

Thanks for the ideas and all Articap , pretty sure your the little Birdy that put that shoudler stock idea in my head anyway if I remember right :D
The gun aint hard to hold with one hand anyway , but it would be kinda cool with a detatchable stock too anyway :)
It aint really much different than the standard Kentucky , just add 6 inches of barrel , it aint realy all that big , just looks big . Heck, it aint no longer than my Beagel Dog ! Hee hee hee .
Yes, I have watched them shoot them high power .308's pistols and often wondered why not just buy a rifle boys ? I suppose its the challenge of that sport that gets um hooked , thats cool too . :)
If'n ya ever seen the Navy Moll set-up with the buttstock thing goin on , its pretty neat indeed . This pistol the Bounty is a natural for the configureation for sure .
If you guys would just quit dreamin this stuff up , then I wouldn't get these thoughts of pursuein it in my head you know :D Nice haven the ability to pull it off too , bonus !

Thanks, Jaeger , birdy watcher
