Anyone here own one of these knives? I was checking them out at the local shop and when I opened it the darn thing nearly jumped out of my hand.I also got a nice little cut from this ordeal.
Nice knives but dangerous.;)

I own one that I got off of Ebay for $40 shipped. It is a nice knife for the price. You get used to the Speed Safe opening real quick though.

I carry one every day. Leave the rubber guard on the blade until you practice a little with it. Don't ask me how I know this

I've got one, and it was my EDC for a year or so. Liked it so much I bought a real Onion. :) Still have the Kershaw, which is a fantastic little knife for the $$$.

Question for Tamara.

Tamara, Could you confirm something for me? Are some Kershaw Blackout knives made in China? The one that I found has China on the blade.

I've had one for a little over a month now. You get use to opening & closing it with practice. Great value, seems well made...2 thumbs up here!

If you like the Blackout, for about $20 you could get yourself an Avalanche. The Avalanche uses 440V steel vs. 440A for the Blackout. The Avalanche also has G10 scales, which felt better in my hand than the zytel handle on the BO.
