After quite a few years of use, the torsion bar in my Kershaw finally broke. I contacted Kershaw via their website and asked for a replacement part. They sent an email back saying they would be happy to send me a replacement part, all at no charge. Few days later the package showed up with not one, but three new torsion bars. I was not aware of the Kershaw warranty when I bought this knife as recommened by a co-worker, but I was impressed with the responsive warranty service. I was pleased with the experience, and the knife works great again.

Yup; Kershaw has great CS; I bent the belt clip on my Blur (sitting in my car the seatbelt slipped under the clip and when I exited... SPROING.) I emailed them to find out what size torx screws they used and the very nice lady from customer service volunteered to sent me a new clip and screws AND the torx bit I needed. Gratis.

I have broken the tips on hunting and pocket knifes from Kershaw and never had any warranty issues at all.
Send them my broken knife and they send me a new one.
Most of the Kershaws came from my Snap-on dealer.I can give it to him and he will send it in for me at no cost.

Their website has their whole policy on it. When I broke the tip off my Blur doing something very stupid, I went to great lengths to come up with a cover story that made me innocent.

Then I called, and spent three minutes on the phone with an immensely pleasant southern gal who didn't give a crap for my story and welcomed me to send it in. She did, incidentally, mention the parts and service dept does enjoy reading people's epic tales..

Anyway, had the knife back in two shakes. Yay Kershaw.

Had a small issue with a Shun paring knife and got great customer service from Kershaw/Shun--they replaced the knife with a new one and turn-around time from them was well beyond speedy. We were so happy with their customer service, we went out and bought a couple more Shuns.

Same here. I sent my Scallion in for a new torsion bar and a bent pocket clip replacement, without any reciept. They sent me a brand new knife, same color (green) and all, in less than ten days. No questions asked.

Great knives, great service, and made in the USA (well, admittedly, not my Vapor II). I'm a customer for life.
