I joined this forum just a little over 2 months ago, with a brand new CCW in the mail and a 30 year old S&W Model 49 loaded with 158 grn lead RN. But since I started reading here, I've learned things, changed ammo, and bought STUFF.

So today, I took all my STUFF to an indoor range in Glasgow and put it all through the paces. I didn't do any kind of varying ranges, I just put the target at 10 yards and left it there. I don't know if what I was doing is considered rapid fire or slow, about 2 rounds per second I suppose. And I do believe that any one of them that's close enough for me to get my hands on would do the job if need be. As for the little NAA Mini-revolver, this is the first time I'd fired it other than to just see if it really worked, and I had to dial the laser in just a wee bit. I was honestly surprised as how good it shoots when you can actually aim it with something. Plus, I fired 2 22WMR Shotshells, just for giggles. I don't think they'd have much effect, but all the little needle holes sure was funny.

So, clockwise we have the 22WMR NAA Mini-revolver, the Ruger LC9s Pro, my old faithful, the S&W 49, only now it runs on Hornady 158 grn. standard-velocity XTP, the Zella-Mehlis Walther PPK .32, which actually does get carried once in a while, and the Ruger LCP. They all seem to have performed quite well to me. And fun? A very large time was had by all.

Well by everyone except the silhouette target guy! Give him some credit though, he caught quite a bit of flak today.

Nice shooting and even nicer complement of CCW weaponry to choose from.
