Kimber Aegis Ultra 11, best 9 mm fmj ammo, best CCW IWB holster

Just picked up anew Kimber Aegis ultra 11 for CCW. Incredibly accurate and unbelieve trigger. Sights are perfect as well. Have been running Federal 115gr 9 MM FMJ, so far about 500 rounds, 0 problems, and Cor-Bon DPX lead free Hp's. I have seen some posts about this gun, that have been rather negative. Get a couple of Wilson Combat mags, fire medium to good quality ammo, keep um clean, and you will never want for a better CCW piece that is so concealable in a 9 MM. Prefer gun to an EMP anyday. Worth going into hock for, if you can even find one. Kimber factory backorder 6-8 months, but several large Kimber Master distributors have them, and FFL'd mine. Still would like any opinions about anyones good experiences with their favorite ammo for this gun for range FMJ and HP, and the best holster for this, Jewel of a gun.So concealed and comfortable I hope I remember it's there when I need to, Thanks, Mike

Btw, this Aegis is just a small version of their best 1911's, with a 3" barrel

I have had a good experience with mine too. Well I should say ours, since my wife wanted it for her birthday.

It has been 100% reliable with around 800 rounds that varied from cheap gunshow clear plastic bag fmj to Hornady Tap.

I like it in a Crossbreed Supertuck. It's nice that my .45s use the same rig.

As far as a holster goes, I'm very partial to the Milt Sparks Versa Max 2.

Thanks for the thoughts on the Holster for the Kimber Aegis Ultra11. I have seen a few postings on the Versa max2 being a good holster too, but am checking the other suggestions. Bought a couple of # 500,9C Wilson Combat mags for it. Haven't used um yet. Anything should be better, then the mag it comes with. Functions , but feels and sounds like a piece of tin, hardly any spring tension against the Wilson. Going to try some Winchester supercleant NT,lead freeJHP? $43 bucks box of 50-last time for that, just for clean break in along with Federal FMJ's & a few Cor-Bon DPX. Got a Galco USA424 Second Ammendment holster recommemded by Galco for this gun. Have Monday. Remains to be seen. Hope this piece always functions amazing as it does. Good looking too.
