well long story short i am going to post some pics of this gun that has holster wear. i found it for 600 and put a deposit on it. if you guys think i should walk away let me know. your input is greatly appreciated.:p

I'm not a big fan of SC 1911's, but 600 for a Kimber I think is good. It doesn't look like it's in too bad of shape either. I'd say go for it, but I don't know much about Kimber.
 
Very likely a jam-o-matic. I would not want to buy someone else's problem, even if the price seems good.
 
I would buy it myself for that price. If there is any problem it can likely be fixed easily.
 
+1 on buy. $600 is low enough to leave some room for corrective surgery, if needed.

I have two Kimbers and have never had any problem whatsoever, although it should be stated that both are fairly early models bought new circa 1998. Also, they have been fired perhaps 200 times each, not thousands.
