Kimber EVO SP followed me home today

I’ve been looking at these. Found one on GB in like new condition for $549.99. Shipping and transfer fees put the cost out the door at a shade over $600. Not a fantastic deal but a good $75 to $100 below retail for a new one. Took it out to the range and it digested a box of 124 grain ball with no hiccups. Gonna run some high performance factory loads through it tomorrow. Does anyone have any suggestions for what hollow point personal defense loads these like the best?

Better eat your Wheaties when you go to field strip one of these. Heavy slide spring...slide has to be held in place at the take-down notch to get the 1911 style stop out. Easier to reassemble.
