Kimber slide failed to return to battery

Hey guys, I just bought a Kimber Pro Crimson Carry on Friday, and I took her to the range for the first time today. Put 100 rounds of FMJ through her. We put 5 rounds in the mag, and twice the slide would fail to return to battery after the 4th round. This problem ceased eventually. Is this part of the normal break-in process for the gun? No FTF's or FTE's. Great trigger, just the slide issue, probably within the first 30 rounds. The next 70 were flawless.

Consider it break in, if it keeps up buy Tac mags from Kimber, it pisses me off that these aren't the mags supplied with their gus in the first place but they all do it.

Not a surprise in the first 100 rounds or so. I think it will be fine

Did your slide stop engage? Mine did that with full power loads, and some Wilson mags helped fix that issue, along with some slide stop work.

Normal...Love my Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry II. I carry it daily, summer and winter. Sure gave me fits for the first 200 rounds though. But it has had 3,000 rounds through it without failure of any knd sense...
