How come a lot of people are getting rid of their KIMBERS? Just look at our trading post(s). There's so many of them forsale.

Thought they were good pistols? If I had one, I'd keep it.

I've got 2 and one is my CCW gun. Not selling here!

Who knows why they're selling, but I don't assume something's wrong because they're being sold. Alot of other brands being sold also...

Maybe its because there were so many made in the past 4 years. They make and sell more 1911's than any other manufacturer so it makes sense that they would have more in the "previously owned" market.

    Lots of guns being sold

One guy posted he was buying a new home and needed the cash. Lots of people having to pay medical bills because they lost or never had any medical Insurance. Some just lost their jobs to out sourcing or someone took their jobs not going to say who but they don't speak English. Lots of reasons people sell their guns it's not just Kimbers being sold. I sure see a lot of Glocks being posted for sale . Anyway I sure am keeping all three of my new Kimbers.

You'll find a lot of Kimbers for sale for the same reason you'll find a ton of Fender Stratocasters on eBay.

People buy expensive toys because it's the cool thing to have at the time.
When they get bored and move on to the "next big thingâ„¢" they sell their old toys and buy new ones.
