I'm gonna try to check it out. If I dont find anything good, I can pick up more cast bullets right down the road. There is a caster a few blocks from the KOP Mall that I get all my bullets from. The site is: betterbullets.com and I use them almost exclusively. Not affiliated/paid in any way, just mentioning it in case anyone wants to find a local caster.

Quick question:
I'm planning on attending the show this weekend with a newly-joined marine friend.
We're from Maryland, and are 20.
Obviously we're not looking to purchase pistols, but I'm uncertain of the legality of longarm deals.
If it is legal for us to own in maryland, could we purchase a longarm in this Pennsylvannia show? Not really worth going to if a 2.5 hour drive will only be used for gawking.
I appreciate any responses.

As long as it is not a "regulated" long arm,you are OK. Stay away from anything that resembles an FAL, AR (though their are some ARs that aren;t regulated), AK, M1a or anything else that might attract the attention of the Marine
Bolt guns, Garands, shotguns, etc are all OK. Some dealers may not want to sell to you because you're out of state so don't be suprised....it's their right....just move along to the next table. You'll still have to go through the NICS check and fill out the paperwork.
I've never been to this show, but at the Dulles, VA show they have a sign saying what out of state purchasers may buy.
BTW, remember that any firearms that you buy must go through a dealer. No face to face private transactions while you are up there.
I may drive up too since the wife is working.

How are M1 Carbines in the ridiculous Maryland scope of things? I'd put them between an M1A and Garand in their Evilness Factor, but its hard to imagine such a cute little longarm being a terrifying, child-killing "Assault Weapon".

I was looking for a particular pistol, and called Freedom Armory to see if they had it, and could they bring it to the show.
They aren't coming to the show.
They're the shop that has the 20+ tables of glass-topped red cases, with lots of current production new, and sometime interesting used handguns on one side, then modern rifles on the other side. Their prices aren't lower than the 'net, but they beat most of the gunshops.
The guy I spoke with said there just aren't enough people attending the show anymore, and they have to shut down their shop for the weekend to attend. I know they built a range out where their shop is, so maybe they're busy enough without the show.
Their table always seemed packed at the show, so I don't know what's up with their decision. Maybe too many looky-loos and not enough buyers.

S&W Model 19-3, 6", P&R, incredible DA trigger, seriously excellent condition for $310 OTD. Could have been a hair cheaper, but this is a great gun!
and a police trade-in 870 for $247 OTD. Bought a beater last year for $169 and spent almost another $100 cleaning and upgrading. This is sweet, no improvements needed!
and a couple hundred rounds of Mini-Mags for $3/100.
A good three hours.

7.62*51- SA battlepacks were $25 (ouch) TZ loose was $80 per 500 and LC loose pack was $100/500ct.
I don't know about itty-bitty .223/5.56 stuff...

Got my first non-airgun longarm:
a dirty, but well rifled 91/30 Mfg 1942 for $85.
Also picked up ~440 rounds of yugo surplus 54R in a spam can for $34.
A fun afternoon.

Just rolled back in from the show.....Spot77 and I got there right as they opened and were there until noon.
Came back with a few things: Some FAL mags for 3/$10, some match .22 ammo and some 30.06 to try in my Savage bolt gun.
No earth shattering deals on firearms, though there were some fair prices if you looked hard enough.
Some folks must have been standing too close to the gun solvent with what they were asking for some things.

I was there on Saturday. Traded a Mosin-Nagant M38 towards the purchase of a RC K98 Mauser. I'm Happy! Overall, this Show offered some what more then Harrisburg, but I still can't get over these prices lately!
