I saw these Sig "limited edition custom" 220's advertized for a great price in their flyer. Anyone know what's up with these? Are they good to go? Thanks for any info you can provide.
They are SAO guns. Nothing wrong with them but they did not seem to sell as well as the traditional DA/SA guns. CDNN is a closeout type of wholesaler and IIRC they bought a batch a great price and are now passing that on.
If you want a SAO P220 they fit the bill and will be as good as any other SAO P220. There is nothing really "limted" or "special" about them except for some of them coming with wood grips. IIRC
I'm thinking that when I turn 21 I'm gonna get either a SIG 1911 or a SIG P220 SAO just because the only 2 handguns I have are both SAO and you can't go wrong with either.
I'd rather have plastic or wood grips and $550 for the gun instead of $650!
I'm really tempted by the compact for $560 since I have a stainless full sized already and love it.
I love the 1911 and have more than is probably reasonable, but in this price range you don't have a lot of choices, the BHP is 9mm so its apples to oranges.
I'm not a big fan of night sights but its a very nice plus at this price!
