I'm not trying to make excuses for the likes of Lewis Black, et al, showing up to support an even tlike this, but I think I can understand their confusion. They are obviously of the standard hollywood type that doesn't know anything about anything, but if it SOUNDS like a good cause then they are there. "A Night to Fight Gun Violence With Laughter" or whatever it was called sounds like a good thing. I mean really, who WANTS gun violence, right? They just never think about the fact that what this groups proposes is not responsible gun-ownership, but and outright ban on a basic liberty of every man, woman and child in this and every other nation in the world.
