I have over the last couple of years been interested in the Kodiak 260.
I have acquired 4 of them. 3 are the same with the bolt handle on the right side.
One has the charging handle of the left in front of the of the bolt on the barrel.
One has a western style straight stock and a shorter barrel kind of like a carbine.
All are orgininal and not altered all have tube magizines. A fellow at a gun show
told me he thought he had seen one with a clip. Dont know about this.I kind of know the standard history of the Kodiak company and know they made a bolt action rifle and a shotgun. Would like to have any info from anyone about these guns or company. I am new to this so thanks :)

I remember waaaay back when they were available... My dad ordered one through the mail and when it came, he looked it over, then loaded it up, took aim and fired it.

When it went off, the action came apart and no the bbl was not plugged as he had ran a patch through it. Anyway, it messed the action up pretty good, but I don't remember what actually happen except, except parts were flying out of it and the action was damaged.

Dad proclaimed them a POS, boxed it up and sent it back. lol

my grandpa had a clip fed Kodiak .22 mag. he never fired it but the friend he sold it to had no luck with it. the receivers were some kind of soft alloy and wore out quickly. also the clip had serious feed issues.
