It would be nice if they came out w/a .32 acp version. Did have an opportunity to try out a .25 at a LGS. Was really impressed...then I picked up a Beretta Tomcat. Love instantaneously. Quality was no comparison. Great gun for the money. I'll stick w/my Intratec Protec .25 until money opens up for a P3AT or LCP. Then I'll go for a PA .25. Just to have one as their service dept is excellent.

BTW some joker on Gunbroker has an IT PT .25 for 375.00 as an opening bid and buy it now. It's in good shape w/an extra mag and original box and papers, but mine's got the same stuff and I've got 145.00 in it out the door. There's wearing on the blueing, but it functions flawlessly. I don't get it?

Well, truth-be-told, it's not the frame that cracks but the mag well. It is cosmetic and it's been that way for as long as i can remember but they'll replace it free so why not get a new one every few years? It must be cheaper to replace it than to retool it and use different metal to prevent it.
Yeah they know it is an issue but their guns don't bring in too much money (compared to larger companies who sell guns for 6x the price) so replacing the tooling may not be cost effective for them.

I just think that if the frame was just a bit thicker then the frequency of this problem would be greatly reduced.

Regardless, Phoenix Arms is easy to deal with and willing to fix any problems you have. They're a good company in my book.

gunbroker IMHO is like ebay: if you are not careful you will be paying way more for something you can buy online/locally. But, also like ebay, people do get into bidding frenzy.
