I had a rough run with my gear over the past few weeks. I'm mostly Lee with a few RCBS, Lyman and Redding items.
Changed over the Pro-1000 to load 44 Magnums, and discovered a .40 S&W case stuck in the bottom of a 44 case I missed when sorting. Broke the decapping pin in my 44 mag die set. Pulled the pin out of a die set I don't use much (.38 S&W I think).
Changed Pro-1000 over to 45 Colt. While switching the powder measure between the dies I misjudged the edge of the desk and my 45 Colt turret & dies fell off onto a 50-cal can full of cast bullets. Sure enough, snapped the decap pin. Pulled the one out of the .380 dies.
Later I was running .223 on the Pro-1000 and missed a Berdan primed case. Snapped the pin off the .223 expander. Sucks, because that's .223 only.
Finally, I was decapping and swaging a bucket full of 7.62 brass on the turret press with the Lee Universal Decapper and RCBS primer pocket swage. While cleaning up, my son asked me how it worked. I showed him by pulling the handle; turns out the turret wasn't indexed all the way into the slot and I snapped the "unbreakable" universal decapper pin.

Put all 4 broken parts in an envelope and sent it to Lee on Highway U in Wisconsin. Dropped them at the post office Saturday June 26th.
The envelope of replacement parts was in my mailbox Wednesday June 30th.
You can't ask for better service than that. Seriously. I was impressed.
Oh, and I know, if I set the decap pin nut a little looser, it will push up and not snap off. Sometimes I get impatient with tight crimped primers.
