I am hoping someone can help find a Kydex holster for a 4 inch barrell XD-40. Right now I am using a generic Uncle Mikes nylon holster with velcro strap which works but is not that great for CCW. Thanks in advance.

I also have a XD-40. You have a SAR1 and a XD-40---you've got semi-auto carbine and pistol covered! I find my XD-40 a great companon piece for my SAR1. Anyway, get you the new issue of Shotgun News (the one that says "Right Ammo For Afghanistan" on the cover; Safeway has this on the magazine shelf.) On page 23, you'll see an ad for Fobus holsters sold by Global Trades Co. of Texas. The holster is $18.50. You can get a more expensive one from another place for $70, but if the Fobus is good enough for the Israelis, it's good enough for anyone. By the way, there's a guy on the XD forum who sells extra mags for the XD-40 and $27 dollars as I recall. I bought three from him and they're brand new factory mags. If you need some, email me and I'll find his adress and you can check and see if he has any more.

I carry my XD-40 in a Blade-Tech belt holster.

Take a look at Comp-Tac.
You should check out Comp-Tac. I got a CTAC holster for my P97 and love it!! The CTAC isnt listed on the website yet but is soon to come. Gregg is very helpful. Give him a call.
