Have any of you guys ever reformed a Kydex holster?
I have a Crossbreed holster for a Taurus PT709. It's half leather and half Kydex. I also have a S&W Shield that almost fits into the Crosbreed holster. It fits snug into a Stoner Leather holster. I was thinking I could simply heat up the Kydex and reshape it.
Any ideas on how to go about doing this?

I've heated the trigger guard area with a hair dryer just enough to reshape it as needed to increase retention a bit, but nothing more. I would surely ruin one if I attempted to reshape to fit an entirely different gun, but you're probably more skilled than me.

Do you still have the Taurus? If so you could just make a new holster for the S&W. Here's a place to get the supplies if you want. http://www.knifekits.com/vcom/index.php They've got all the kydex supplies you need.
