Does anyone have any info or value on a 20ga double barrel that is nickel plated?

We need more information: serial number, hammer or hammerless model, condition, markings on the frame and barrels, and preferably pictures.

From what I've heard, L.C. Smith would, maybe, nickel a gun on special order, but most of them were the big waterfowl guns.

At one time they nickeled some bicycle parts and probably typewriter parts.

I have a number of L.C. Smith's including a 16 gauge and 410. I suspect your 20 gauge has double triggers and extractors. If yours has the Hunter One trigger and ejectors you have something very special. It could be a field gauge, ideal guage, speciality guage or higher. To get more information contact the L.C. Smith Collectors Society or the Cody Museum firearms record department. The latter has most of the original records on L.C. Smith and Winchester Model 21 shotguns. They might have the original order records or even the shipping papers indicating who bought it and where it was shipped.
