There may be many here that are past members or still current members of another gun forum called CSP / Jouster 2. I have been a member since 1982. There is much knowledge for old mil surps guns in the subject site/link that came from CSP. Mil Surps don't seem to be as popular as ARs, 6.5 anythings, and more modern firearms. However; if you do have an old mil surp, you might be interested in the subject site. It is not a discussion site; it is a closed reference site; a site that only has information on the care, repair, and feeding of M1, M14, 1911, mil. smallbore and some sporting arms. The information comes from mil armorers, gunsmiths, and many many very knowlwdgeable people. In todays parlance, the site would be populated with "stickies" only.
If you are interested in old mil surps, woddern warriors, you might get a cup of coffee and a sandwich and browse thru it. I do recommend if you find something you like, DOWNLOAD OR COPY it.
The host site, Wayback Machine has lost some info from CSP and what's there now may be lost in the future. I began copying info a long time ago. Glad I did.
