I have wanted one of these rifles for over a decade. Even had one on order, twice. Always chickened out and canceled. Not this time.

I broke the barrel in today using the Troy iron sights. Had some help from a buddy with better eyes than me. No functioning issues with several different kinds of ammo. Managed to get some decent groups at 100 too. It also shot well suppressed with no over gas, thanks to the port selector.

After the range session I mounted the Night Force ATACR™ 4-16x42 F1 that I purchased for this rifle. Mount is a Larue LT111 OBR. I will post some groups next time out.

Very nice. Those LaRue 308 framed rifles are awesome. I’ve got a PredatAR in 5.56 and it shoots extremely well to have such a thin barrel profile.

They are excellent rifles- I have a OBR 7.62 and a stealth carbine in 5.56. What suppressor are you using? My OBR won't run worth a hoot with my Gemtech "1", regardless of the setting or what buffer is in it. Larue told me that the gas flow is specifically set up for Surefire cans.

I am running an AAC MK-13. Runs great. Very little blowback with port selector in the suppresses position.
