LAS VEGAS connection

I figured most of the people on this forum will be in Las Vegas at least once in there lifetime, so if u ever want to meet, get some cigars or put some lead down a range or 2, also if u need reservations. Or just want ideas on wat to do,( i have connections and can get good deals at most casinos since im a bellman).
 
I'm going to be staying in Pahrump for a couple of months and would like to get together, if just to actually speak to someone rather than just type at them.

My Father lives there. So the wife and I will be staying with him for a short while after I return from Scotland.

I was just out there at the end of May. I had a free afternoon and went to an indoor range over on Tropicana - The Gun Store? - Lead free ammo was very expensive. Wish I had known to give you a call. Maybe next year - I'm usually out there at least one every year or so.

As for ranges near the strip, The Gun Store does a prodigious business and makes good money doing so.

I prefer Discount Firearms on Highland, or even A.S.S. (American Shooter Supplies) with their 50yd and 25 yd range. Discount is closest to the Strip (just west of the R/R tracks behind the Fashion Show Mall), but TGS probably does more business from touristos.

I think each of the above have web sites.
 
Discount Firearms is, but TGS is not but it is a short cab ride away and I know you can rent machine guns there. I am not familiar with A.S.S.

The wife and I were looking at moving to Pahrump. It sure sounds inviting! Hmm.

And more affordable than trying to buy here in Vegas.

In fact, and most tourists don't realize this, The Strip is not even in Las Vegas. City limits begin at Sahara Avenue ( by the Sahara hotel ) and go north. Many visitors to Las Vegas never actually make it to Las Vegas and don't realize it.

That's for sure. We got into a beef with our HOA and said the heck with it we're moving. Everything around where we lived was $400k just for a 1/2 acre lot but here we got 1 1/4 acre for $90k and had Red Rock Builders build a house. I think there's more gun stores here than in Vegas, and it's 1/20th the size! :D

The wife has her reservations about living here, being used to the shopping in Vegas, but I love it!
