Las Vegas gunshow??

A number of us geezers and geezerettes from our gunclub here in Yuma are thinking we would get one of those promotional bus tours up to Las Vegas for a weekend and take in the gunshow, among other endeavors.

We dont know anything about the gunshows up there. Which ones are good and which ones arent worth the effort. Maybe some of our members there can enlighten us.

We all like beef jerky.

The 'Antiquarian Arms Show' has always been splendid, but their link was not working just now.


The Cashman Field ones are usually fairly alright.

You mean one of our famous rubber dog crap and jerky shows? Don't waste your time. The gun shows here suck, unless you are looking for some realistic rubber dog crap or some probably unsafe to eat,jerky. Come for the bright lights and good food, forget the gunshows. JMHO (because I live in LV)

Phoenix is a lot closer, and if you want to gamble there are any number of Indian reservation casinos.

Yeah, we are now leaning toward Pheonix, we were not aware of the NICS check BS going on at the Vegas shows, and had not considered the fact that we cant buy handguns there. Thanks.

You might consider SHOT Show. It's not considered "open" to the public, but it's not difficult getting guest passes. Can't buy anything there, but you can see everything that will be launched in 2010 before it hits the press.
