Anyone have any experience with laser boresighters? There are the types that are placed in the end of the barrel and those like the "Aimshot" which look like a shell with a laser in it that you load.
Some brands are Aimshot, Site Lite.

What have you used and how accurate are they for sighting in scopes and adjustable sights?
Thanks

I have one of the into-the-muzzle type; don't recall the brand and its not written anywhere on the sighter or case. It came with three madrels that screw into the end so it can be used on guns from .22 to .50.

Mine looks like this one.

Only good for getting you on the paper, not much else.

For what kinds of guns will you use it?

If it's just bolt action rifles, bore sighters are a waste of cash. I just eyeball down the barrel and am on paper every time.

Different story with semi-autos.

Thats what I was thinkin get the shot on paper like a regular boresighter.
I was thinking of getting one to check the scope on my pump rifle prior to hunting season, and maybe the adjustable sights on my pistol.
Thanks for the info.

theres a good oner that is a laser in a cartridge case so u can lock & load like normal cept with a lazer chanbered
