just picked it up today, never fired. Super like new condition and only $175 from a private collector... :)

No real reason to shoot it. Picked it up along with two others at an estate auction. I have enough other guns to shoot. I do like it a lot though.

I'm jealous. I would have to shoot it a few hundred times, at the very least. Ya know...gotta make sure it works...

I see no reason not to shoot it. Almost 40 years old and he still only paid about 1/2 what a current gun sells for. I don't see it increasing in value in the next 40 years anymore unfired than fired.

In my years on the street we were issued a different shotgun every day from a mix of Remingtons and Mossbergs.... Don't think I've ever seen one in new condition before (and those daily issued weapons were in the seventies...). That's a great purchase.

I always enjoy guns more when they get used. SHOOT IT! It might not be your go-to trap gun, but it might be fun to run some training drills with it. Very nice buy.

OK, you guys convinced me, I will shoot it, just to make sure... ;)

Sadly it probably isn't a big deal but is a great one. Nice find. Yeah, no reason not to shoot it other than it's as purty as a new one from Walmart.
