Latest 1911, in 9mm!

Yup, the purists will disagree as it's a double stack but I've been wanting one for a long time. It's an Armscor 9mm so now I have 1911 pattern guns in 9mm, ,40, & .45 so I'm a happy camper. Range day tomorrow!

Who hasn’t? :)

Good looking gun – looking forward to the range report.

As for the ‘purists,’ they need to lighten-up and be glad you’re not posting about another-type gun.

Nice, my Kimber 9mm cost me $829, how much for the armscor 9mm?

If I would have found one of those, I would have been all over it. I've got 22lr, 9mm, and 45acp 1911's. I love them all.

I've got Armscor 1911-A2 wide bodies in 9mm, .40S&W and .45ACP. They take Para P18, P16, & P14 mags.

Mine were all under $450 each. All are great shooters. I've probably got about 15000 rounds on the 9mm. And its my favorite .40S&W gun.

I picked it up on a local trade, gave a nice Beretta 92 FS for it. The fella I got it from bought it new in 2006 for $440 and the box was dusty and marked 2004...

Took it to the range yesterday and put about 100 rounds thru it. Other than being wider in the grip it shoots just like all of my other 1911s. It performed flawlessly and is one of the softest shooting guns I've ever fired. The weight and balance make it a joy to shoot and this one is a real keeper.

When Rock Island ever starts bringing in the 9mm 1911 they showed at the SHOT show, I'd highly recommend it...

NGIB; congrats on the new acquisition. Just got also a used ARMSCOR hicap .40s&w and so far its been a great shooter. How did you post the pic anyway? Thanks for the tip. (Tried copy and paste but still no pic.)

Oh, I will be, I just worry that there won't be enough to meet the demand.
