I didn't know autism and down syndrome were related.

Not to be insinsitive, but everyone has their own cross and if you can't make a joke about anything what's the point? Please, if you are that thin skinned, be my guest and log off. It's not like I was specifically directing that joke at you and your family. To quote the second most famous movie drill sargeant, "Lighten up, Francis."

(Apologies if your wife or mom is/was named Francis)

hahaha...THAT PICTURE ABOVE IS SO WRONG ON EVERY LEVEL....

HK...the AGGIE GUN has arrived.

Never compromise.....never buy an HK.

You sure? I think it is actually a double "s". As in Francess? :D

These pixz remind me of the kaboom picture I saw in a thread here earlier this week. A reversed bullet is clearly visible at the top of the mag under what is left of the slide. Here it is, check it out...

To anyone posting about overall quality of the picture: you must remember the poster took a picture of the glossy catalog with the picture on it, thus making it more fuzzy and giving it odd lighting

That kB! Glock....

I just bought one of those, used. This isn't a comforting photo. Anyway, I think in the milliseconds of the kaboom, it is possible that the next cartridge in the magazine did an endo and wound up reversed. What do you think?

Anyone with an extra catalog, I collect this kind of stuff to - would pay you for the inconvenience.

PM me.

Thanks,

"Um ya, im sorry, I only have another week working here, and to tell you the truth, I checked out a while ago"

I read that this was something they rushed together for the show.

stopped by local shop yesterday to see if he had any catalogs, he always has plenty from several manufacturers, but no HK.

he said he called them 2 weeks ago to order some catalogs and was told that they no longer offer 'paper' catalogs. they are now all on discs.

Skunk,

You being in Cali, we just figure it was one of those weird fixed-mag pseudo AR thingies y'all have out that way.

Nope, it's an AR-15A4gery that belongs to another forum member. And just so you know, he was present at the time so we narrowly escaped being felons

(it's againt the laawwww to loan an AR)

The photo guy and stylist WERE not gun people to load the magizine backwards and then to have it approved at Sig is mind boggling!!!

On the contrary, I'm sure everyone at SIG approved of the photo. Also everyone at Colt, Smith and Wesson, Glock...

They all probably wish they'd thought of that. May even use that exact photo in some advertising of their own.

In A World Of Compromise, HK Did. :D

When Your Reputation May Depend On Your Photographer, You Don't Settle For Second Best.

arinvolvo, I love that show. ;)

In all seriousness, what is the pistol on the cover? It almost looks like a full-size P2000.

Chris

I dunno Orion,

The grip texture looks different, and it also seems to have the ambi slide release. Though I don't own one, so I may be way off.

Chris

It's one of their new P2000 pistols.

For the kind of dough they're asking for one of those plastic wunderpistolen, you'd think they'd be able to pay a gun-savvy photographer, or HK advertising guys who aren't asleep at the job when it comes to approving the latest hi-gloss brochure.

It is a little funny to see such a goof from a company that won't even talk to you in a civil manner unless your first name is "Police Department" or "Defense Department".
